Welcome to Adesto. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our recruitment platform. By registering and using our system, you accept these terms and conditions in full.
2. Registration
When you register as a locum worker with Adesto, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself
- Maintain and promptly update your profile information to keep it accurate and complete
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
3. Professional Requirements
As a professional registering with our platform, you agree to:
- Hold valid and current professional registration with the appropriate regulatory body (NMC, GMC, HCPC, etc.)
- Maintain all required compliance documents and training certifications
- Immediately notify us of any changes to your professional registration status
- Provide accurate information about your qualifications, experience, and training
- Upload genuine and unaltered compliance documents
4. Document Uploads
When uploading documents to the system, you confirm that:
- All documents are genuine, accurate, and unaltered
- You have the right to share the documents with us
- You understand documents will be reviewed by our compliance team
- You will provide updated documents before expiry dates
5. Shift Assignments
Regarding shift work, you agree to:
- Only accept shifts you are qualified and available to work
- Provide reasonable notice if you need to cancel an accepted shift
- Arrive on time and work the full duration of accepted shifts
- Follow all policies and procedures of the client facility
- Maintain professional conduct at all times
6. Payment Terms
Payment for completed shifts will be processed according to:
- The rates agreed at the time of shift acceptance
- Your selected payment method (PAYE, Umbrella, or Limited Company)
- Our standard payroll schedule
- Submission of accurate and complete timesheets
7. Right to Work
You confirm that you:
- Have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom
- Will provide all required right to work documentation
- Will notify us immediately of any changes to your immigration status
8. Data Protection
Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection laws (GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018).
9. Confidentiality
You agree to:
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information
- Comply with all NHS confidentiality requirements
- Not disclose sensitive information about client facilities or Adesto
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You breach these terms and conditions
- You provide false or misleading information
- Your professional registration expires or is suspended
- You engage in unprofessional or inappropriate conduct
11. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to maintain our platform, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any losses resulting from system downtime or technical issues.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
